About Fort Loramie, OH

Fort Loramie was established as a fur trading post sometime after Dec. 1776 by Pierre-Louis de Lorimier (usually anglicized to Peter Loramie), a French-Canadian fur trader, British Indian agent and Shawnee agitator.
