Honey is a lovely hunter pony with a lot of potential. Previously used in a lesson barn for w/t classes, she was lightly started over fences up to 2' feet. She can free jump 4' feet with ease and could go higher. This mare is incredably athletic but sane and willing. Currently working over ground poles and on the flat, with some work lunging in a surcingle and side reins. Honey leads, ties, trailers and stands still for grooming, tacking up/down, mounting/dismounting with or without a mounting block. Will ride in a martingale and with spurs but she dosent need them. Dont be fooled by her use in a lesson bar, as honey has a soft mouth and light sides. She responds well to leg and seat aids but is tolerant to rider error. this little lady is honest and hard working. she consitantly gives 110% and enjoys being challenged. with an excellent mind and big heart she'll take you as far as your willing to go. Honey is easy to ride just needs finished over jumps, and has taken well to basic dressage. Only requires an occasional scratch for encouragement. She backs easily and straight as an arrow, no problems turning and no balking. If driving is your thing she could make a nice driving pony, she has been ground driven but is currently not broke to drive. Honey is very smart and easy to train, has a mind to do whatever you point at her. Honey is a refined built pony with movement more similar to a horse, on top of that she also has color. Being a palomino few spot appaloosa, honey can produce those prized dilute sport ponies and patterned ponies with some of them having both. Only offering her for sale at this price, and at this point in her training is due to a personal injury. Buy her now as a bargin show pony for your child, or buy her and finish her jumping/dressage/eventing training and resell her next spring for 3x the money or more. if she were a full sized horse i'd keep her for myself, as she has so much potential and is a joy to ride above all else.
