He has been ridden both English and western, but also is amazing to ride bareback. He’s very smooth and easy going. Boris is a trail riding machine and is as comfortable as sitting on the couch cruising down the trails. He’s very sure footed and gets around like a mountain goat. He’s a brave partner that will go through running water, mountainous terrain and navigates easily around the prickly pear cactus. He’s confident alone, but can lead or follow a group. He doesn’t mind his position. Boris is fun to ride in the arena. He has a desirable jog, extended trot, and sweet and slow rocking chair lope. He side passes, ground ties, and will go over all the trail obstacles with ease. He has a one handed neck rein and guides easily. Boris is safe, safe, safe for any level of rider.
