Grey Mfthba Gelding

Meet “Hollywood’s Foggy Bottom,” but around the farm, we call him Cotton! Cotton is a beautiful 8-year-old dapple-gray, registered Missouri Fox Trotter gelding with impressive bloodlines. His sire was ranked among the top 5 breeding sires in the Missouri Fox Trotter Association in 2019. We have taken Cotton on countless camping and trail riding trips, and he has plenty of miles under his belt. He crosses water, logs, ditches, and other trail obstacles without hesitation. Whether you’re heading out for a short afternoon ride or spending the day exploring new trails, Cotton is a pleasure to ride. One thing that really stands out about Cotton is just how smooth he is to ride! His incredibly smooth gait makes covering miles on the trails a breeze. He also transitions nicely from his gait into a lope, lopes circles, and picks up both leads. Between his beautiful dapple gray coat and smooth way of traveling, he is sure to catch some attention on the trails! Cotton has also been used around the farm to check and gather cattle, and we have taken him to local fun shows. I enjoy having a horse that can do a little bit of everything, and Cotton has been just that. One of Cotton’s sweetest qualities is his personality! He absolutely loves attention and is usually the first one to meet you at the gate. You won’t have to spend your afternoon chasing him around the pasture because he’s easy to catch and always happy to see you coming! He also stands well for the farrier, bathing, and fly spray. With Cotton’s experience and easygoing nature, we think he could suit riders of almost any level, as long as they understand the basics. He has been a pleasure to have around the farm, both in and out of the saddle. Cotton is a handsome gelding with a smooth gait, a sweet personality, and plenty of real-world riding experience. Be sure to take a look at his video to see more of what Cotton has to offer, and let us know if you have any questions! OPEN BIDDING ON THEHORSEBAY.COM ENDS ON 11/11 @ 6:30 PM CT.
