Thoroughbred Gelding for Sale in Daly City, CA

Cooper is a 16 year old OTTB. I’ve owned him for about seven years. Cooper has a huge personality...he loves attention and loves to work. He tends to have more whoa than go, but I’ve trained him to be very sensitive to the aids, he is as push-button as they come. Goes in a plain 3-piece snaffle; I’ve also ridden and jumped him bridle-less. Cooper is ready for h/j riders, eventing, dressage, or trail rides. He’s beginner friendly but would do best with lots of work and mental stimulation. He loves to jump, and has schooled up to 3’9”. He’s been to a few schooling shows and won his division. He trailers, clips, bathes, stands for farrier, etc. 15.3 hands, healthy and sound with a lot of life and work left in him! He does best in a stall with turn outs and exercise. Easy keeper, best kept on grass hay and with four shoes. Located in Pacifica, CA. I am selling him due to a cross country move, and will provide his buyer with all of his tack (minus my saddle), blankets, boots, grooming supplies, leftover grain/supplements etc at no extra cost. I want my boy to find a good home!

About Daly City, CA

Archaeological evidence suggests the San Francisco Bay Area has been inhabited as early as 2700 BC. People of the Ohlone language group occupied Northern California from at least the 6th century. [ verification needed ] Though their territory had been claimed by Spain since the early 16th century, they would have relatively little contact with Europeans until 1769, when, as part of an effort to colonize Alta California, an exploration party led by Don Gaspar de Portolá learned of the existence of San Francisco Bay. Seven years later, in 1776, an expedition led by Juan Bautista de Anza selected the site for the Presidio of San Francisco, which José Joaquín Moraga would soon establish. Later the same year, the Franciscan missionary Francisco Palóu founded the Mission San Francisco de Asís (Mission Dolores).
