Trakehner Mare for Sale in Sterling, IL
Aimee FLF is going to be a show - stopper, with her amazing natural
balance and lift in her trot and canter and her fantastic ~look at me~
personality! Her genetics and conformation guarantee that she will hold
up to the demands of a demanding career, yet she has the fabulously
refined and feminine looks of her Arabian heritage. Her TRAKEHNER dam
line contains the best of the best of Trakehner breeding. I expect this
special filly to mature to at least 16 hh, and despite her parents
"smaller" stature. Aimee has a great personality as well,
and although she was a bit fiery as a weanling, she has matured into
quite the love. She is exceedingly intelligent and observant, and I
expect her to be very, very trainable.

About Sterling, IL
In 1834, Hezekiah Brink built the first cabin in what was to become Harrisburg. Two years later, William Kirkpatrick settled downstream in an area that became Chatham. In 1838, Harrisburg and Chatham merged to become the Town of Sterling in an effort to attract the county seat. The name "Sterling" was given to the new town in honor of Major James Sterling, who distinguished himself in the area during the Blackhawk War in 1832. On February 16, 1857, Sterling was incorporated as a city by state law.
