15. 1 hands, registered 15 yr old Appaloosa mare, owned by me for the last 11 years. I will be starting my MBA soon and must very sadly part with her. Great horse for any level. Does it all; great on trails, loves to swim, jumps beautifully, loads willingly, no vices. Very successful in Hunter / Jumper shows. She has a great personality, very cute face, and has not been sick or lame in all the years I~ve owned her. Asking $1, 500, only to great home. About Charlottesville, VA
At the time of European encounter, part of the area that became Charlottesville was occupied by a Monacan village called Monasukapanough. An Act of the Assembly of Albemarle County established Charlottesville in 1762. Thomas Walker was named its first trustee. It was situated along a trade route called Three Notched Road (present day U.S. Route 250), which led from Richmond to the Great Valley.
