Norwegian Fjord Gelding

Meet SHORELINE’S ALBERT (22-8043-S) – The Fjord Pony Everyone Dreams Of! Albert is a stunning registered Norwegian Fjord gelding with the NORWEGIAN FJORD HORSE REGISTRY. Standing 14.1 hands tall and born on May 11, 2022, this handsome 4-year-old is the complete package. His strong imported bloodlines, excellent conformation, classic brown dun coloring, and perfectly defined two-toned mane make him a true representation of everything people admire about the Fjord breed. But Albert’s beauty is only the beginning. We are his 2nd owner. From the moment you step into the pasture, Albert is the first one to greet you. His kind eye, gentle nature, and friendly personality make him impossible not to love. He genuinely enjoys human interaction and is happiest when he’s spending time with his people. He leads respectfully, stands quietly tied for grooming, bathing, clipping, and tacking, and has the kind of manners that make him a pleasure to have around. Whether you’re an experienced horseman or a beginner, Albert is easy to handle and eager to please. Albert has been thoughtfully started using natural horsemanship methods, giving him a strong mental foundation that will serve him throughout his life. He knows several fun tricks, including lying down on command, saying “yes” and “no,” and following his person freely around the arena. He has been extensively exposed to tarps, pool noodles, bridges, balls, whips, traffic, and countless other obstacles. New experiences are met with curiosity rather than fear, making him an exceptionally confident and reliable partner. If driving is your passion, Albert shines there as well. He is broke to drive both single and double and has confidently traveled down main roads, back roads, and through busy environments. Traffic, crowds, and commotion do not bother him. Whether you’re heading out for a relaxing evening drive or participating in an event, Albert remains steady, dependable, and enjoyable every step of the way. Under saddle, Albert truly showcases his versatility. He comes to work with a willing attitude and a genuine desire to please his rider. He is well broke to walk, trot, and canter, picks up his leads correctly, and even has flying lead changes. He moves willingly off seat and leg pressure and has a soft, responsive feel that riders appreciate. OPEN BIDDING ON THEHORSEBAY.COM ENDS ON 10/21 @ 5:30 PM CT.
