Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Walkerton, IN

“JG Gunners GreedyGal” | the PERFECT cow x run cross that will excel in the performance industry | This is Oakley, a phenomenally bred, very athletic 2024 model AQHA mare. She is a beautiful rose gray color with a dorsal stripe down her back. She is by a Chicks Beduino stallion and out of a Yellow Roan of Texas mare. This desired cross gives Oakley the best of both worlds- versatility to go in a variety of directions while possessing a balanced temperament and catty stopping / turning abilities. She’s had a great start to life and has had around 120 rides under her belt. With that time spent she has proved herself to be VERY intelligent. She rides like an older horse already with a level head, willing attitude & no funny business. Oakley has been rode both in and out of the arena. In the arena, she will walk on a loose rein quietly. She will walk, trot, and canter both directions and knows her leads. She rides collected and soft in the bridle, is starting to turn around correctly and is hunting her stops! Outside the arena she’s been exposed to cattle, trails , and an abundance of road riding.During the Fourth of July she was rode around fireworks the whole evening and handled it like a veteran! Oakley is very gentle on the ground and has a kind eye. She is easy to catch, great to clip/ trim and calm and quiet to tack up. This filly is exceptionally talented and is ready to be taken further into showing her full potential ! Oakley sells 100% sound with no scars or blemishes. She’s located in Walkerton IN and we can help arrange shipping anywhere! PPE are always welcome at buyers expense.
