Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Greenfield, MO
Exceptionally calm and steady disposition. Cute head, nice built, stand 14.2 hh. Valor is an anyone can ride, all weather kind of horse. You can jump on him after time off and he will ride off with no problems. I have pulled him out of the pasture and galloped him though a rain storm to doctor a colt at the neighbors.
He has worked hard all day chasing cows through the brush. I have swung a rope and pull logs off of him. Ponied colts and worked horses off of him in the round pen and pasture. He always stays calm and responsive even when the herd of horses we’re chasing speeds away at full gallop.
Will slow right down and calmly walk under low branches while I lay on his neck.
Totally traffic safe, been ridden into town many times. Great on trails, crosses logs, water and will go swimming if asked. We have pulled a boat around the pond, he never acted weird about it, even when it floated up and bumped into him. I have seen very few things that ever upset him.
Side passes, opens gates, neck reins, backs & takes both leads.
Catch him in the pasture & ride him bare back in a halter. Comes over to a stump on cue for mounting. No spook, never offered to buck or been cold backed. Great with all other horses, good ground manners. Good with his feet. Sound.
