He has been ridden in Shawnee, Illinois, Rockbridge Canyon in Alabama, Red Hill Horse Camp in Kentucky, Caney Mountain in Arkansas, and numerous locations throughout Tennessee. Just like a seasoned trail horse should, there isn’t much JD hasn’t seen. When it is time to hit the trail, he is strong, steady, and ready to go all day. He has the stamina and heart to handle long rides while staying smooth and dependable. Wildlife, dogs, and traffic never rattle him. He stands like a true gentleman for mounting and unmounting and will step up to a mounting block. He picks up all four feet with ease and is dependable both under saddle and on the ground. He is easy to catch, halter, and saddle, making him enjoyable to handle every day. JD rides out alone or in a group with no problem. He hauls quietly, loads and unloads with ease, and never makes a fuss. In the barn, he stands great for the farrier, behaves perfectly for haircuts, and has excellent stall manners.
