Crossbred Pony Gelding for Sale in Wichita Falls, TX
‘Chip’ is a respectful ‘kids’ horse who loves attention, handling, grooming and hanging out. He is quite gentle around kids and adults. Kids (and even our dog) easily lead him in halter. We have given the grandkids saddle rides on lead but not progressed further, even though the seller (to us) claimed he is rideable and trained to pull a cart , but that ‘ is above our pay grade’. In our late 70’s now and hopefull to find him a good home.

About Wichita Falls, TX
The Choctaw Native Americans settled the area in the early 19th century from their native Mississippi area once Americans negotiated to relocate them after the Treaty of Dancing Rabbit Creek. American settlers arrived in the 1860s to form cattle ranches. The city was officially titled Wichita Falls on September 27, 1876. On that day, a sale of town lots was held at what is now the corner of Seventh and Ohio Streets – the birthplace of the city. The Fort Worth & Denver City Railway arrived in September 1882, the same year the city became the county seat of Wichita County.
