He’s super cute, friendly, versatile, and has the greatest personality. He’s even got a dolphin shaped spot jumping over his tail! He rides inside and outside. He’s good with flags and obstacles. He side passes, knows his leads, is good with leg pressure, rides direct and neck rein. He was at an English barn before I got him, but I’ve mainly camped with and trail ridden him. Took him on week long trips to Tennessee last year and Yellowstone this year. Jumps right into the trailer and backs out calmly. He’s an energizer bunny and will go all day or all weekend. Crosses water and bridges with no issues and walks through brush, over logs, and off trail calmly. We rode through a ground bee hive last year and he was one of the only horses that did not freak out and essentially just high stepped through the area. He rides at the front, middle, and at the back of the group with ease and is very friendly with other horses. At Yellowstone this year, he was in a stock trailer between two horses he didn’t know when we went to trailheads and got along with them as though they’d known each other forever. For riding alone outside, he does well with someone who’s ridden some before, but is great in a group. He’s very curious and willing to try new things. He has clean legs and is barefoot, I’ve never had any issues with soundness. I did put four shoes on him for the Tennessee and Yellowstone trips though and he stood great for the farrier. Very easy keeper, stalls well, and pastures well with anyone. He’s a very low maintenance horse. I’m selling him because unfortunately, I’m not financially able to keep him anymore."

About WICHITA FALLS, TX

The Choctaw Native Americans settled the area in the early 19th century from their native Mississippi area once Americans negotiated to relocate them after the Treaty of Dancing Rabbit Creek. American settlers arrived in the 1860s to form cattle ranches. The city was officially titled Wichita Falls on September 27, 1876. On that day, a sale of town lots was held at what is now the corner of Seventh and Ohio Streets – the birthplace of the city. The Fort Worth & Denver City Railway arrived in September 1882, the same year the city became the county seat of Wichita County.
