• Color: blue roan
• Gender: Mare
• Training: Neck reins

⸻
Personality & Experience
Moon-Pie is truly a gem — sweet, loving, and absolutely loves her snacks and rubs. She was originally purchased for my husband, who had never ridden before, and she took excellent care of him.
She’s been primarily used for trail riding and has carried everyone from beginners to experienced riders, all of whom have raved about how smooth, fun, and reliable she is.
⸻
What She’s Great At:
• Loads & unloads with ease
• Crosses water confidently
• Gets along well with other horses, dogs, cows, and goats
• Calm around whips, flags, and farm tools
• Picks up all four feet without a fuss
• Loves baths and attention
• Will ground tie and follow you around without being tied
• Backs up on cue
⸻
Why We’re Selling
Absolutely no fault of her own. We simply don’t have the time to give her the love and attention she deserves — and a horse this good shouldn’t just sit in a pasture."

About WICHITA FALLS, TX
The Choctaw Native Americans settled the area in the early 19th century from their native Mississippi area once Americans negotiated to relocate them after the Treaty of Dancing Rabbit Creek. American settlers arrived in the 1860s to form cattle ranches. The city was officially titled Wichita Falls on September 27, 1876. On that day, a sale of town lots was held at what is now the corner of Seventh and Ohio Streets – the birthplace of the city. The Fort Worth & Denver City Railway arrived in September 1882, the same year the city became the county seat of Wichita County.
