Clayton is a 3-yr old, bay paint, Gypsy Drum gelding, currently standing 15.3 hands, & he’s ready for his next best friend! Clayton has spent this past summer with us logging miles of trails, working on a cattle operation, and serving as the “go to” when my teenagers organize a weekend camping trip with their non horsey friends. He’s the one we load up every time when we need a steady mount for someone who doesn’t have a horse to ride. Clayton has been trusted to come along on numerous trails across various states. He ties on a line overnight, is always quiet, and provides the same safe experience every time. Clayton crosses water, goes up and down inclines, navigates rough terrain & downfall with ease. A more whoa than go style. Clayton is an asset on the farm. We use him to gather cattle alongside working stock dogs, to rope & doctor calves. There’s nothing he isn’t willing to try, a true working partner. Clayton is young, but wise beyond his years. He is gun safe, traffic safe, carries the flag, and is unbothered by the tarp. We’ve rode up on various wildlife including deer & turkey, and he just carried on. His daily life includes working alongside ATV/UTV’s, large farm equipment, and other livestock, I’m convinced there’s nothing he hasn’t seen.
