Pony of the Americas Mare for Sale in Butler, IN
7 year old grade varnish POA mare (at 4H they measured her at 13h, but at home she measured more around 12.2h). Had 90 days professional training when started as a 4 year old. Has been ridden and shown by a beginner for the last 4 years. Shown in halter and barrels. Started on ground poles and low jumps. Daughter has gotten too big for her. Would need a confident advanced beginner or intermediate rider. Will test the rider at first until they show her that they know what they're doing and they are in charge. No buck, bite, kick, or rear, she just will try to go where she wants to go. Seems to really enjoy jumping and could make a gorgeous jumper. Has been worked and ridden on almost a daily basis. Not ever ridden on the road or trails by us, but was used on trails by trainer. Located in Butler IN. Asking $3,500 cash only (price is negotiable)

                    About Butler, IN
Butler was platted in 1856 when the railroad was extended to that point. It was likely named for David Butler, a pioneer. Butler was incorporated in as a town 1866, and as a city in 1903. On July 23, 1966, Butler was one of the end points of a record-setting speed run by a New York Central RDC-3, M-497 Black Beetle, modified with a pair of jet engines, as the rail line between it and Stryker, Ohio, was both straight and flat. The car reached a speed of 183.68 mph (295.6 km/h), an American rail speed record that still stands today.
