Barrel/Rope Horse

Stoney Tontolena is a 2005, 15.1h, AQHA registered buckskin gelding. Stoney is a jack of all trades! He is an all-around using horse. Pasture rope, check fences, gather and doctor cows, trail ride or work in the arena. Stoney also knows the barrel pattern and has run in the 1d/2d locally and 3d/4d at supershows. He will go whatever speed you ask and will slow-work the pattern. Stands to be tied, groomed, for farrier and vet work. Stoney has all the fancy buttons and a big motor so would be best suited for experienced riders. He is soft through the face and body and rides off your leg and seat. Stoney would like his new rider to know that he prefers a mohair cinch and likes it to be done up slowly so he does not get cinchy. He sells with a negative coggins and is up to date on vaccines, dental, and farrier work. Stoney does have a crack in his right front hoof that is currently growing out. Vet and farrier have confirmed that it is only cosmetic, and he is sound. Stoney is an easy keeper and does not require any maintenance other than front shoes.
