More information is available on the website, including an UTD vet inspection, Coggins, video, images, and the owner's contact information to ask questions, request information, or make arrangements to come to visit. Meet Joker or should I say, No Joke. A registered 4-year-old stunning dapple-grey Tennessee Walker. An extremely friendly feller that’s well started. We purchased Joker last fall to finish out for my folks, but they can no longer ride due to health. He has had lots of groundwork, and we have trail rode him all over Ohio. Recently took him to Michigan for two weeks of riding, where he rode into Lake Superior. Joker does great camping overnight on high lines, etc. He is the first one to you in the field. He has personality for days; you immediately fall in love with him. Joker has a smooth saddle gait. Stands to be saddled, mounted, bathed, and clipped. He loads and unloads easily, crosses bridges, creeks, and logs, and he is traffic safe. Also used to farm equipment, always doing something with the tractor or side by side. Watch while in the field with equipment; he’ll be right there with you ‘helping.’ you can put your raincoat on and off from mounted. Joker is broken to a tail crupper and is used to saddle bags. Joker will walk on loose rein even when approaching camp. Sweet-natured and has a willing soul. Joker picks up learning quickly. He knows a sending technique and flexing. Because he knows to flex, Joker can one rein stop. He seems to be very brave as well. I usually ride him out front on the trail, and he never spooks. Although rode out front often, he is happy anywhere in the pack. When he is not upfront, and something is too scary for the lead horse to pass or cross, I immediately offer to go first because I know Joker will pass it safely with confidence. He also knows a few tricks, including “come around” so you can stand on an object to mount instead of mounting from the low ground. Current Coggins and new shoes. Come see if Joker is a good fit for you. Located in Lucasville, Ohio.

About Lucas, OH

David Tucker, a New Hampshire resident, moved to Richland County in 1819, where he set in a proposal to buy land in the rural country of the county. He was granted this proposal in 1824, allowing him to buy land from the state at $1.25 per acre. After purchasing a mass quantity of land from the state, Tucker hired Mr. Steward to survey the land for auctioning out. David's brother, John, was placed in charge as the head attorney authored to sell land to incoming settlers and pioneers in 1829.
