Missouri Fox Trotter Gelding for Sale in Rock Hill, SC

OPEN BIDDING ON THEHORSEBAY,COM. SALE ENDS ON 10/09 @ 4:30PM CT. More information is available on the website, including an UTD vet inspection, Coggins, video, images, and the owner's contact information to ask questions, request information, or make arrangements to come to visit. Meet Pale Faced Tears (aka Red Man). He is a registered Missouri Foxtrotter 3 years old gelding with an outstanding smooth gait. He is 14.1 hands and still growing. Red Man is an in-your-pocket type. He is always the first who comes to you on the pasture. He loves to get pets or go for a ride. As you see in the pictures and the videos, he’s got the look, and his gait is unbelievable naturally. He has a bald face with one blue eye, which let people turn their heads. Red Man is mostly ridden western, but he goes English as well. He responds nicely to leg pressure, and his stops are amazingly on voice and seat. He knows how to lunge with and without side reins. He will pick you up at the mountain block for easy mountain on the trail or at the trailer. Red Man picks things up exceptionally fast; if he isn’t used to it, he is easy to teach and willing to learn. He has great ground manners and is willing to do just about whatever you ask him. He goes alone on trails as well with other horses. He leads, goes in the middle, or at least in the group. We bought Red Man 1.5 years ago and got handled daily since then, like ponying on trails, hauled to other places, and he knows how to stand patiently on the trailer and wait for you. He’s up-to-date on all of his vaccinations, stands great for the farrier for his trim (he is barefoot), and would make somebody a great all-around horse if you want to do more than trail riding. Red Man knows how to turn on the forehand, moves the hindquarters, back up, and side passes. I just started backing him through an L or side pass over ground poles. If you have any questions feel free to call me. Thank you in advance for your consideration of this beautiful gelding.

About Rock Hill, SC

The symbols of the city are the four Civitas ( pl. civitates) statues, installed in 1991 at the Gateway corridor on Dave Lyle Boulevard. Each holds a disc that symbolizes the four drivers of the city's economy – Gears of Industry, Flames of Knowledge, Stars of Inspiration, and Bolts of Energy. The ribbons in the Civitates' clothing and hair transform into wings, inferring the textile industry as the foundation of the city's growth. The 22-foot-tall (6.7 m) Civitas statues were made of bronze by the New York sculptor Audrey Flack.
