Quarter Pony Mare for Sale in Peralta, NM
Ponchita is a beautiful mare with a full and long mane and tail. She is very comfortable to ride but can be a little spunky at time. However she is not dangerous or mean spirited. She would make a great bull dogging horse or heel horse due to her short but very stout size. She would also be a pleasure out on the trail or on a ranch helping with the work. She is currently in training and gaining more skills each day.

About Peralta, NM
Peralta was the site of the Battle of Peralta a minor engagement near the end of Confederate General Henry Hopkins Sibley's 1862 New Mexico Campaign during the American Civil War. "The Padre of Isleta", Anton Docher served as a priest in Peralta during his long period in Isleta. As of the census of 2000, there were 3,750 people, 1,314 households, and 1,034 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 851.4 people per square mile (329.1/km²).
