Offered due to no fault of his own (death in the family). Mongo is crazy smart and wants to please. He is very laid back and rides exactly the same even if he has time off. He is very curious and likes exploring. Mongo was professionally trained for 30 rides by Jared Woody of Woody performance horses (pics and video available). He had approximately 60 rides on him and would still be considered green but he is extremely calm and non-reactive.
Farrier says he has tough feet. Clean bill of health from vet (cleared for light riding) and current Coggins. Mongo's only flaw is that he is a mild ringbone case. Xrays and vet records are available, vet states is he good for light work. He does fine with glucosamine and Prevacox. Mongo would be a great fit for an older woman wanting to do light riding or a mid-level young girl.
As I think a lot of this horse, I will be selective about the home he goes to. Vet and farrier references required, sells with first right of refusal contract. Email for more information. Extensive pics and video of Mongo available since he was 8 months old. Mongo also has his own facebook page that documents all the groundwork and handling done with him.
