Handsome Paint Stallion

Hugo is a strikingly handsome black and white stallion with two stunning icy blue eyes. He’s on the shorter side, but has a thick build to him. He stands around 14 hands tall. Not very sure of his breed. Best guess would be a paint quarter horse. He’s around 10 years of age. Hugo leads, can be tied, stands still for grooming, baths and is a pretty good boy for the farrier! He’s a little iffy with his back legs, but hasn’t kicked. He loads into trailers with no hesitation. Hugo may have some trust issues with a new owner at first, but has certainly warmed up to us! He loves to be petted on and fed treats. Hugo is currently pastured with geldings and a donkey and is on the lower end of “herd order”! He does well in a barn as well. Overall, Hugo seems to be a fairly easy going, good horse and definitely on the more gentle side for a stud. He has been saddled, bridled and has been ridden with someone leading him a few times, but not selling as “broke” at this time. He is very much green and should be handled by an experienced horse person/trainer. He seems extremely smart and willing though. He also has beautiful movement. We will continue working with him until he finds a new home. Hugo would be a great project horse for someone wanting to train their way!! I believe he will make someone an excellent riding horse with some time and patience, not to mention a flashy mount that will for sure get you noticed! Asking $1000 for this gorgeous boy!
