Trixie is a 13 year old paint mare standing at 15.2 hands. Enough good things can’t be said about this mare! This is one horse that is as correct as they come. Trixie is truly versatile and can go any which way you would like her. Outside of ring she is cool and collected, and will go out alone or in a group. She is calm with nervous horses and not reactive. She will cross logs, water, mud, steep inclines, bridges and is traffic and dog safe. In the ring, Trixie is a forward moving ride and is up for anything you point at her. She will take a set of cross rails and can effortlessly jump 2’. She would also be a phenomenal XC prospect as well. For the western rider, she will run the barrel pattern with ease and has enough speed to work your way in the 2 or 3D. She would be an incredibly fun horse to haul out to some local shows! Trixie neck reins and direct reins, and is responsive to leg.When asked, she gets on the bit well and is sure to get you noticed. She will WTC both directions, always picking up the correct lead. Trixie is not lazy and would be best suited for an advanced beginner. With her build, she would make a great husband horse or would fit a taller and larger rider incredibly well. She is comfortable and is like sitting on a couch! She would be best suited for an Advanced Beginner due to her attentiveness to her rider. In the barn, Trixie has excellent ground manners! She stands to be tacked, tied, bathed, groomed, for the farrier and vet, and fussed over. Trixie can live inside or outside and is never a problem out in pasture with mares or geldings. Never marish and kind to all sizes, ages, and types of horses. She is always the first horse to meet you at the gate with a warm nicker every morning. Holding a bubbly personality and an exceptional disposition, she is sure to be a barn favorite. Trixie is an easy keeper and is not lame in any way.
