MILLY- 2004 chestnut grade quarter horse mare, standing approx 15.1 hands. Gentle and easy to get along with. Trained using Clinton Anderson natural horsemanship techniques. Respectful on the ground and under saddle, stands still to mount/dismount, ties, bathes, loads and hauls well. Moves out nicely down the trail, lead, follow or go alone. Good on the road with traffic, in the arena and also started on gymkhana, taken through a 4-month long series at a trot/lope and won ribbons. Good in a stall or turnout, sound and healthy, up to date on vaccines, worming, teeth float, chiropractic and feet. About Grants Pass, OR
Early Hudson's Bay Company hunters and trappers, following the Siskiyou Trail, passed through the site beginning in the 1820s. In the late 1840s, settlers (mostly American) following the Applegate Trail began traveling through the area on their way to the Willamette Valley. The city states that the name was selected to honor General Ulysses S. Grant's success at Vicksburg. The Grants Pass post office was established on March 22, 1865.
