Dutch Warmblood Gelding for Sale in Gloucester, VA
Finnegan is 10 year old Art Deco Dutch Warmblood; he is the grandson to the Grand Prix Jumper, Art Deco. I have had him almost 3 years now and trained him in hunter/jumper. He is extremely honest and a very good ride. Not for beginners, but great for advanced or intermediate who want progress their riding. I have only jumped him up to 2'6", but I know that he can go higher; however, I recommend hunters over jumpers for him because he has a very smooth canter and round jumper. Price is high because of his excellent blood-lines, but also because he is very well behaved/trained and still holds a lot of potential. Trailers very well. Good at shows. I put 4 as his temperament because he is very well behaved at home, but he is a little skittish in new places. Overall though, he doesn't take very long to settle in. I hate to let him go, but I cannot afford to keep him, so I hope his new owner loves, and appreciates him as much as I do. Almost has lead changes (he will get it numerous times in both directions, but not always).
