Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Pompeys Pillar, MT
PEPPERNICS CALL
Stacked and ready for work. Patient, alert and self-managed around new and old crews. "Peppernic" is a go-to guy, dependable is an understatement and runs a round pen start without direction. Cowy, rough terrains and long days.
There are no words to express how reliable Peppernic is for any rider, with nearly any objectives. A very strong lead, raised in a herd of 24 and accustomed to long hauls, several days work and various climates.
Lightly reined with little direction, but is eager to handle a rough rider in hot situations. American All-Around ranch hand and mellow pasturing disposition. Would make any Cowboy proud. And a muscular show stopper.
Large breed dogs, working cattle ranches, heavy equipment, small children, disabilities, snakes, parades, rifles.

About Pompeys Pillar, MT
The town of Pompeys Pillar was founded in 1907 and was named after and situated less than a mile east of Pompeys Pillar National Monument, a 150 ft. tall sedimentary rock formation best known for William Clark's inscription of his name and the date July 25, 1806 on its surface. The site also has significant evidence of human activity spanning an estimated 11,000 years. The town of Pompeys Pillar was first planned out as a railroad station within the Huntley Project, an irrigation project managed by the United States Bureau of Reclamation. A Catholic church and a Union Congregational church once existed in Pompeys Pillar.
