Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Roland, OK
This is a APHA 4 yr old mare. She is reg. sorrel but should be palomino. I
bought her for my son who is 121 / 2 but wont take care of her. My
son rather ride ATV insteed. The mare is a Dash For Cash mare (she is
built for racing) . I bought her off a friend who had her at the race
track. I will need to have her vet check to make sure she is in foal and
due in May. She will come with the paper work to Reg. foal too. This
mare was broke but has not been riden in about 8 mons. She has no bad
habbits and is a quite mare in the paster. She has been around young
kids and is a nice horse.
About Roland, OK
This area was a dispersed rural community in the Cherokee Nation during the 19th Century, until 1888, when the Kansas and Arkansas Valley Railway (KAVR) built a railroad line through it. [a] Meanwhile, the formerly-dispersed residents coalesced into a small town called either Garrison or Garrison Creek. A post office was established in the town in 1902, and the town renamed itself as Roland in 1904. The 1910 census recorded 228 residents.
