This 1 / 2 Arab / Saddlebred mare is a do - everything horse. She is a very responsive, enthusiastic horse, shown 4- H by kids, ridden for trail trials, all around good natured, drop - dead gorgeous girl. We nicknamed her "Red" because she is a radiant glowing chestnut. She's reg. as 1 / 2 Arab, possible to reg as Natl Show Horse. She definitely looks more Saddlebred. She is BRED to a homozygous black Arab stallion (Black Shaadow) and will foal June 2003. Will have a dark bay or black foal. The Stallion tends to throw tall foals. This mare clips, loads, vet & farrier fine.
About Skaneateles, NY
The area was part of the former Central New York Military Tract. The town of Skaneateles was formed in 1830 from the town of Marcellus. Early turnpikes facilitated development.
