Thoroughbred Gelding for Sale in Portland, OR

Wondering where all those “worth their weight in gold” horses come from? Here he is. The ideal first horse. A parent’s dream!! Rembrandt is easy to ride and a dream to show. He knows his job and does it. Takes impeccable care of his rider, and a love on the ground. Tied for 3rd his first show out. Clean x-country, great show jumping and a dressage score of 32 (that’s a 68%!). Jumps 3’6 with ease. All this in a 5 y.o. with the rest of his career in front of him. Impeccably well trained. This guy will teach his rider what it is supposed to feel like. Easy to jump, stays calm and rhythmic all the way to the base. Point and shoot x-country. Baths, clips, ties, loads, trailers, does it all! This is that first horse that you NEVER forget. Video available.

About Portland, OR

During the prehistoric period, the land that would become Portland was flooded after the collapse of glacial dams from Lake Missoula, in what would later become Montana. These massive floods occurred during the last ice age and filled the Willamette Valley with 300 to 400 feet (91 to 122 m) of water. Before American pioneers began arriving in the 1800s, the land was inhabited for many centuries by two bands of indigenous Chinook people—the Multnomah and the Clackamas. The Chinook people occupying the land were first documented in 1805 by Meriwether Lewis and William Clark. Before its European settlement, the Portland Basin of the lower Columbia River and Willamette River valleys had been one of the most densely populated regions on the Pacific Coast.
