Trigger is the perfect step up for any kid wanting to go to the next level. He is super game and always ready to go. We don’t recommend him for beginners or small children only because of his spirit. He is broke and safe in every way but always ready to do the job. Our 14-year-old son mostly rode him and had a lot of fun; he is currently jumping 2’ 8” with both the pony and the boy having no experience in this field; we think he could be a hunter jumper and think Trigger would enjoy that. Trigger will ride out alone or in a group and pastures well with other horses and farm animals. The only thing we have to call on him is he will crib if kept in the stall without a cribbing strap; he doesn’t do it when turned out in a large field. Trigger rides English, western, or bareback.
