AMHR/Aspa 11 mo Pinto Colt

Handsome 11 mo black/white Tobiano Miniature colt for sale. Halter broken, ties, can pick up feet tied or untied, backs, leads pretty well both sides, friendly but a little shy...unless you have treats, completely weaned. I have his mother on site. His sire is Little Chaps Smokin Taxi, a show horse from Stepping Out Minis in CA where he was bred. Dam is Mulligans Run Music of the Night, a double registered Shetland broodmare. Vaccines and most recent hoof trim done in Feb, wormed last week, vet checked in Feb. Great health, lovely colt, ready to start training soon. Don't have measuring stick so about 39" from what I can tell. No height guarantee provided, as he is under a year old and has Shetland blood. If you are looking for a bigger mini or smaller Shetland, he is perfect for you. May be able to carry a small child on his back when mature. Have not been able to bathe him as it is winter so his whites are a bit dirty. He was untouched and unbroken in November when I got him and his dam. In just a few months, and not a lot of hours of work, he has come a long way in his training. His dam has beautiful action, have not seen his sire move but if he inherits his mom's movement, you will have a winner. His papers have been sent in for ownership change and are now in my possession. He is ready to go to a new home anytime. Buyer is responsible for shipping if needed. Smoke was still suckling when purchased in November but his mother had a negative Coggins test. If another one is desired or required, buyer is responsible for acquiring it.
