Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Wayland, MO
Elmer is a sound 14.2-15 hand 12-13 year old grey gelding. He is grade however previous owners sold him as a quarter horse. He is 100% healthy and up to date on shots, deworming, and teeth. He is very strong and will work hard for you. He is a quick learner as well and easy keeper. He has a curious yet cautious personality. Stand well in cross ties, in trailer, and for farrier. Bathes and loads fine. He is a great trail horse with a good steady pace and no lolly gagging. He walks out on his own and is not herd sour at all. He needs a soft but experienced consistent hand. He loves peppermints and is food motivated and usually have to use a bucket to catch him.
