Arabian Gelding for Sale in Holladay, UT

Boo is a 2007, 15.3hh, purebred, chestnut, Arabian gelding with papers. He is registered under the name SR Asanti, sired by Magnum Psyche, grandsired by Padrons Psyche. He has won several regional and national western pleasure competitions but has been ridden hunter, english, and a little dressage for years since. He has also been a lesson horse for one of the most prominent barns in Utah, and has been owned by my family for 3 years in June. He is an incredible riding horse. More woah than go, definitely more of a kick ride, but can get moving with a little effort. He has all transitions down. He used to jump but had some ankle problems some years ago so he hasn't jumped since, although he is really enthusiastic about trying when there are jumps set up in the arena. Not sure if he still could. Has not had many issues with that ankle in years, with his annual injections and living on flat ground. We are hoping to get him reevaluated by a different vet soon. He currently lives in a pasture with two other horses. Is definitely the pack leader but is not overly aggressive or mean. Gets along well with other horses and, of course, all people. Is very friendly and consistent and is a great family horse. He has a little spook in him as he is still an Arabian, but as long as he is ridden consistently by just a few people he settles right in. His spooks are never dangerous. Just turns his butt to the "threat" or does a couple bunny hops. Would recommend for casual riding or showing. He gets scared on trails, and wouldn’t be a great trail horse. He is a great horse and we are sad to see him go. Finances just don't allow us to keep him. Being sold at no fault of his own. Comes with full set of tack (bridal with bit and reins, hunter saddle with stirrups, 2(+) saddle pads, and a new-ish halter). Only selling to a family or single rider. This boy needs a solid family foundation in his life. Text or message for any questions/details/videos. 5,000 negotiable to the perfect home.

About Holladay, UT

On July 29, 1847 a group of Mormon pioneers (members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) known as the Mississippi Company, among them John Holladay of Alabama, entered the Salt Lake Valley. Within weeks after their arrival, they discovered a free-flowing, spring-fed stream, which they called Spring Creek (near what is now Kentucky Avenue). While most of the group returned to the main settlement in Great Salt Lake for the winter, two or three men built dugouts along this stream and wintered over. Thus, this became the first village established away from Great Salt Lake City itself. In the spring, a number of families hurried out to build homes and tame the land.
