Kid Safe Standardbred

Kid safe mare just in time for Christmas!! 💜Princess Dee💜 Princess is a 16yo tattooed Standardbred mare with more woah than go. Nothing fazes her on the trail, rides perfect bare back in a halter and alone or with a group. This is probably one of the most trustworthy horses I’ve ever met. She would excel with a younger cowboy or cowgirl who knows how to ride. Nice trot, perfect stop and will rack down low. 2 front shoes but is a little worn down on her heels due to not having shoes before I got her. Princess is a rescue case and was starved but has improved SO much. I don’t know much about her past, unfortunately, but I can assume the she was probably ridden hard and not taken care of properly. Her tendons do swell occasionally and she does have pin fire marks on her back left. However, she has never been lame and shows no signs of pain! I do think she would do best with a lighter rider because of this. She likes to walk and take it easy but will give a little spunk when asked. Been around dogs, four wheelers, cars, cows, goats, chickens, and about everything in between. Low four figures due to needing some muscle and her tendons. Come try her out! Located in Abingdon, VA
