Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Minneapolis, MN

Hello, I am currently looking for a new home for my horse Dasha. She is 19 years old, a quarter horse mare, and has been lightly ridden for the past few years. She was previously trained as a barrel racer, and due to my schooling and work, I could not keep up with the training. She has been living at the family friend's hobby farm. I am looking to find her a new home where she will get the love and attention she deserves. I am offering to sell her for free as long as the place she is going to is nice and well-attended. She is very smart and picks up quickly. She will need someone who is a more experienced rider since she is rusty. She has lived in a pasture for most of her life and like being around other horses. I would prefer that she remain in a pasture setting, but I am flexib
... more»le. She does has a back foot that slightly turns in, which sometimes makes it hard for her to turn when going at a speed while riding. It doesn't seem to bother her, and it was never much of an issue for us. Feel free to contact me with any questions and set up a time to meet.

About Minneapolis, MN

Dakota Sioux were the region's sole residents when French explorers arrived in 1680. Fort Snelling, just south of present-day Minneapolis, was built in 1819 by the United States Army. It attracted traders, settlers and merchants, spurring growth in the area. The Minnesota Territorial Legislature authorized Minneapolis as a town in 1856, on the Mississippi's west bank. Minneapolis incorporated as a city in 1867, the year rail service began between Minneapolis and Chicago.
