Lone Oak 19 Edna Imported: Registered with the Friesian Heritage Horse/ Sporthorse International Registry Three years old (DOB: 4/21/2019) Stands 15hh currently (still growing) Please watch the entire extended video. It is detailed. This is Edna. Edna is the fresian that everyone wants. With the lovely presentation of a stout, hardy fresian, she has the brains and personality of a big puppy dog. Edna takes everything in stride and will never say no. Though she is on the lazier side, this gal sho
... more»ws no interest in arguing over anything. We have trail ridden her, ridden her in our arena, and done just about everything under the sun on the ground, and she has a carefree attitude. Edna would walk EVERYWHERE if you allowed her to. We use a little spur on her to encourage her to laterally move off the leg, and she is quickly grasping the concept! Edna carries herself with a lovely headset, especially for a horse as young as herself. She has an extremely comfortable, uphill canter with the best brakes you could ever hope for! She has been lightly started over fences, and just as with everything else; she couldn’t care less what you do. She just needs encouragement to keep on moving forward. Absolutely n0 spook under saddle and on the ground, and I mean ZERO. Like, we had her in the lake on the trail ride (her first time swimming, by the way), and she wanted to go out and get pats from a fishing boat! Edna allows us to catch her in the field; as a matter of fact, she comes right up to you. The kids on our farm have driven the quad around her, she leads with the golf cart, hops in and out of the trailer, alone or with other horses, and you’d never know she’s back there unless you looked. When I say she is uncomplicated, I mean absolutely UNCOMPLICATED. There is NO funny business with this gal. She has also driven a few times and did well. We don’t have videos of that, unfortunately. We don’t own a cart. Edna is having a full PPE performed that will be available for your viewing. Edna is healthy, sound as they come, and looking for her new person. Whether you’re looking for a dressage prospect with the brain of a 10-year-old at just 3, looking to trail ride everywhere, fox hunt, lesson horse potential, or just have a lovely pet that’s the easiest keeper ever, Edna is your girl!
