Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Madison, AL

Toby — AQHA registered as Impressively Hott, a sweet 5-year-old grandson of Western Impress out of a GM Hot Rod Lincoln-bred mare. He has the DOC BAR bloodline – an AQH Hall of Fame. I have trained him using the Downunder method (aka Clinton Anderson method), and built a solid foundation. He walks, trots, lopes, and gallops nice and calm. He neck reins, side-pass, and backs up. Bombproof, no buck, bolt or rear. Great breaks and easy keeper. Balanced go and whoa. Loads on trailers easily, bathes and stands for Farrier/Vet. UTD on vaccines and coggins. He has been on mountain trails, water ponds, bridges, rail roads, around cows, out in the streets, and horse shows. I started some roping lessons on him, and he is willing to go the direction you are interested in, cutting, roping, working cow, reining, ranch, barrel, and trail ride prospect. I have put a lot of miles under his feet as I ride/train him almost every day (weather permit), and I hope he finds a good home. Come and test ride him. I am the owner on his paper, and I am asking for $10,000 OBO. Well trained and respectful horses are not cheap, and you get what you pay for. Videos and more pictures available upon request. Call or txt.

About Madison, AL

This area was occupied historically by the Koasati (also known as Coushatta), a Muskogean-speaking people and, before them, thousands of years of indigenous cultures. Madison's first European-American resident was John Cartwright, who settled in the area in 1818. The city was originally known as Madison Station, and it developed in the 1850s around a stop of the Memphis & Charleston Railroad. Textile mills were built in the area in the late 19th century for processing of cotton. Madison was the site of a battle in the American Civil War.
