Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Wolcott, NY
Quarter horse cross, 10 years old at her prime. Vaccines good till next August, just dewormed in November, hooves trimmed January31st. She loves to work, shows as a good barrel prospect, has been under western saddle, road only max 5 times, still prettygreen. She takes wait on stirrups and you can lay across her, moves away from hand pressure with stirrups. Have videos also but won't load. Will need an experienced rider,, Knows good ground skills responds better with a male. Truly a good horse she just needs to work. Has walked over poles on the ground. She has never been jumped, but can be a project for it. Looking to find her a permanent home, must be willing to sign a first right of refusal or buy back option, not leaving any chance for her to go to a kill pen!!!! Best way to reach me is by text message.
About Wolcott, NY
The first white colonist settlement began around 1807. Native Americans settled the land many years before. The Town of Wolcott was formed 1807 from the Town of Junius in Seneca County, New York before the creation of Wayne County, but the town was not completely organized until 1810. The land on which the town was formed on was previously inhabited by Cayuga and Onondaga Native Americans, who were exiled by white European colonists. The town was later reduced in size by the formation of new towns in the county: Butler, Huron, and Rose, all in 1826.
