Winchester (aka Chester) is a handsome 9-year-old, 15.2 hh Kentucky Mountain Horse grade gelding.  He is a beautiful well built golden palomino. Chester is extremely personable and loves attention when it comes to his special person. He is an ex-field trail horse and can move on down the trail. He is extremely sweet with excellent ground manners. Chester stands patiently for the farrier and likes to be bathed. Loading is also not a problem. He is very loving and affectionate when he knows you, then he will be the first one to come when you walk out to the pasture. He’s extremely well minded and will study his perspective person well…. He has a sixth sense about him. He will cross water, plastic tarps and bridges. He is safe in traffic, as well as big farm equipment. Chester stands quietly to be saddled and bridled. He is super soft and supple under saddle, responds to seat, neck reins and guides by leg pressure only. He also has an amazing smooth Flatwalk, rack and a “turn your ball cap backwards” fast rack which is so smooth that you will ride all day long, it’s AMAZING!!!!! He has a Motor (so intermediate or experience rider the best). If you start him he will rack for miles with the same speed and not getting tiered. He is the perfect trail horse for people who wants to go for long several hours on the trail or enjoy endurance rides. He would love that. In addition, Chester is used to traveling to other places for trail riding. He has been ridden all over the mountains in North Carolina and South Carolina, especially those at Kings Mt State Park in South Carolina. Chester is definitely a leading horse but he can following other horses or go in the middle as well if they have the same speed. In addition, he is awesome to ride alone out too. No buddy sour, no spook or rear to leave the property to excess the trails. He loves to go on the trails and he goes every day for hours without getting tied. He has a really good handle as you can see in the video. Chester is a well-known trained horse. He is sensitivity trained for almost every environment the horse will see in their lifetime.
