Tennessee Walking Gelding for Sale in Walden, CO

Titan is a one-of-a-kind, GENTLE, and gorgeous bay roan tobiano TWH gelding with a heart the size of Texas! He is 5 years old and stands 15.2 hands. Titan is SOLID and one of the quietest-minded, SWEETEST horses we have ever owned. He is the perfect family horse and is suitable for any level rider. Titan has been in our training program since he was a yearling. He has been ridden and trained by some of the best trainers in the gaited horse industry. Titan has tons of trail miles and bird hunting experience, including long days of shotguns, mules, wagons, and loud noises. He has been ridden throughout the U.S. from the high mountains of the Snowy Range in Wyoming (elevations exceeding 12,000 feet) to the hills of TN and KY, to the piney woods of the southeast (GA, FL, and NC). Titan has seen about every type of terrain and wild animal you may encounter, from bird dogs to badgers, quail to bald eagles, elk to antelope, and much more. He has also spent many hours in the arena and round pen. We started Titan the right way with all the basic training from simple lunging, flexing, picking up his shoulders, moving off your legs, and being super light in the face. Titan is super SOFT with tons of feel while riding or handling on the ground! He can be ridden flawlessly with an O-ring snaffle bit, shank bit, halter, neck rope, or just your fingertips on the side of his neck anywhere through any terrain. Titan rides easily on a loose rein at a walk, gait, or lope. He responds to leg pressure and hand cues so well that he can be ridden with no bridle or neck rope at all! He will simply respond to your seat, hands, and legs alone. He will abruptly stop when you say woah and place your legs out in front of you, then back up with a gentle motion of your legs without ever touching the reins. You can even ride him BAREBACK AND BRIDLELESS at the same time!!! Titan parks out and stands perfectly still for mounting, or you can pull him next to the tailgate to make it easy. He neck reins perfectly one-handed, side passes, and lopes both leads on command. He has a SUPER SMOOTH gait that is comfortable to ride all day long. He has a smooth slow walk and has an amazingly smooth transition in and out of a lope. Titan is so SURE-FOOTED and CAREFUL while going through rough terrain or over down timber. He takes his time and never gets in a hurry or panics when in a tight spot. He will cross anything and go up or down the roughest of country without hesitation. Titan can pack all your gear for you up the mountain and is STOUT and STEADY enough to ride all day in high country. He is good with water, bridges, gunfire, dogs, bullwhips, traffic, children, and ponying other horses. Not only is Titan an outstanding trail horse, but he has also been used to gather cattle, and you can swing a ROPE and drag off him, too! Titan will go to work every day with a good attitude or is just as happy to be fed treats and be loved on all day. Even with months off, he will be the same horse every time you get on him. He is a very trusting horse and will go and do whatever you may ask willingly. Titan would also make a competitive mounted shooting horse. He is QUIET in the stall, easy to catch in the pasture, and gets along well with other horses. He stands without being tied for saddling and takes to the bridle gently. Titan is quiet and TRUSTWORTHY to be ridden out by himself or with a large group of horses. Titan has no spook and no bad habits. He loads and backs out of the trailer easily, stands for the farrier quietly as well as bathing and clipping.
