Appendix Gelding for Sale in Grand Junction, CO

This guy is being sold as grade. You can Walk, Trot and lope off of him. Though he is more woah than go! You can trail off him any day, work him in an arena, round pen etc. This guy is fit for any rider at any level, although he can be a little lazy when getting him into a lope. He is a gentle giant, big sweetheart and has no buck bite or rear. He’s healthy, does have a little bit of arthritis but has no sign of lameness in the past. UTD on shots, feet have been recently trimmed. He loads awesome, stands tied, ground ties, picks up his feet has no issues with farriers and is very well mannered on the ground. I bought him originally because I needed a secondary horse to ride with family/ friends wanting to ride and in general. But unfortunately he isn’t rode as much and just needs a good home with someone who will give him the attention he deserves! For anymore questions please don’t be afraid to reach out to me!😊

About Grand Junction, CO

In September 1881 the former Ute Indian Territory was abolished and the Utes forced into a reservation so that the U.S. government could open the area to white settlers. Clinton County, Pennsylvania-born George Addison Crawford (1827–91) soon purchased a plot of land. On July 22, 1882, he incorporated the town of Grand Junction and planted Colorado's first vineyard near Palisade, Colorado, causing the area to become known as the Colorado Wine Country. Grand Junction also has a storied past with gunfighters, miners, and early settlers of the American Southwest.
