Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Tabor, SD

LJ is a 13 year old Registered Gelding. He is a grandson of Sunfrost. Picture of papers in his video. Stands 15.2 HH, LJ has been my personal horse for the last 2 years. I know this horse inside and out. Anyone can ride this gelding, I would trust my grandma on him. He will walk on a loose rein, cluck to him to get into a trot and push your hips to get in a canter. He can read your body language, sit to stop. LJ moves his shoulders, hips and is soft in the face. He has a resume that is a been there done that kind of horse. He knows what a long day on the ranch is. He has gathered cattle, sorted pairs, doctored calves, shipped cattle and drug to the fire. Never roped out of a box but has tracked the hot heels for fun. He is good around ropes & commotion. He has been down the trails and can ride with a loose rein, alone, with a group where ever you put him. He is good with traffic, dogs, wildlife, bicycles, water, bridges, train tracks, etc. LJ is a 2D-4D barrel horse.Majority of the videos are from running last season. He does not need to circle, you can run him in. He has the speed to win. This gelding is the real deal and can go any direction, he will do whatever is asked of him. He’s apart of our family, but due to time & circumstances he is for sale. I have thought long and hard about selling him. He will be the first one to greet you, stands tied, great for farrier, no maintenance, easy keeper, bathes, hauls, and is a total sweetheart to be around. Priced at $15,000 located in SD.
