Belgian Draft Mare for Sale in Gardners, PA

Lexy is an approx 15 year old, 17 hands tall Belgian Mare. Advanced Beginner safe, more whoa than go with a nice Walk, Trot and Lope under Saddle. She is still in need of some weight but she is gaining daily very nice. Lexy is an phenomenal Trail Horse. She rides out alone or with others, she leads or follows. She is absolutely not Buddy or Barn sour and is absolutely not spooky. She rides through any tough terrain put in front of her. Lexy is safe on the Road, around Traffic and ATV’s, safe around farm equipment. She is an ex Amish horse and is broke to drive single and double but we never hitched her. Lexy will go on the long Rein all Day until you ask more of her. She can be stalled or kept on Turn out, she gets along with Mares and Geldings in our Herd. Has always been good for our Vet and Farrier. She stands nicely in cross ties or single ties while being groomed, loved on, bathed, fly sprayed, and tacked up. She has never ever offered to buck, bolt, rear, kick or bite. Never has acted marish and we haven’t found any Vices. About Gardners, PA

The village of Gardners was originally known as Gardner's Station. In the 1886 it was described as "a modern railroad town on the Gettysburg & Harrisburg Railroad" and a "shipping point for the southern settlements of Huntington and Tyrone Townships". In the intervening years, the rail line was operated by the Reading Railroad and Penn Central Railroad, and currently is operated by the Gettysburg and Northern Railroad. The surrounding area is known for its apple and other fruit orchards. In 1912 a food processing plant was built in Gardners by C.H.
