Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Beech Creek, PA

FOR SALE two 13 yr old Grade Geldings: My wife and I purchased two horses that aged out off a ranch in North Dakota last summer. We rode them religously from last June until last October. Work schedules proved to be too much and we do not have time for them anymore. The last time the horses were ridden, besides today was last October. DUTTON (the Dun) was the exact same horse that he was last October. RIP (the Palomino) needs an experienced horse person to get him back to where he was. Both horses just had their feet trimmed and are current on wormings. Shots are coming due and the vet will be here Wednesday so they will be up to date. DUTTON is a grade Dun gelding standing 16.1 Hands and is 13 years old. He has a sweet disposition and is very gentle. DUTTON is easy going and is like riding in a rocking chair when in his lope which is where he is most happy. WTC, neck reins, backs, and side passes. Great around children, dogs and other farm equipment. We have only used him for trail riding. DUTTON was used for riding fence lines and I'm not sure if he has ever been roped off of. Stands great for ferrier and vet. Does great in groups or on his own. Not a mean bone in his giant body, extremely sweet. Carries his head high and proud when riding. Always in correct lead. He's fast. RIP is a much more experienced, been there done that , working cow horse type that stands 15 Hands and is 13 years old grade Palomino. Very athletic. He is mildly spirited and not for a begginner. He WTC, neck reins, backs, side passes, spins, and an experienced rider can get a lot out of him. He has been roped off of and has sorted and cut cattle. Always in correct lead. Great around children, dogs, and other farm equipment. With the right owner RIP would be a great rodeo horse. RIP does great in groups or by himself and we only used him for trail riding. My hope is that someone buys him that will be able to use him to his full potential. When we purchased the horses last June, RIP was $6,000 and Dutton was $4,500. If you are interested in purchasing both horses the price is $7,000. Otherwise RIP is $4,500 and Dutton is $3,500. Again, DUTTON you can let out in the pasture for months and months and he will be the same every time you get on him. RIP will need some attention from an experienced horse person but is an absolutely phenomenal horse we just have not spent enough time on him.
