AraAppaloosa Mare for Sale in Wynndel, BC

Cr Royale Moonsin Stunning bay dun snowflake filly, born in 2018, standing 14.3 hands barefoot. Perfect step-up horse for the child who’s outgrown the lazier beginner horses. She would also fit very nicely into a lesson program, and would love that lifestyle! In her more mature years, she could become an invaluable broodmare, especially crossed with welsh lines for a competitive pony! She is still learning and growing but she is broke to ride, has been jumped very lightly, and is learning to move off the leg and collect. If not sold she continues training for barrel racing and jumping both. She travels very nicely, has an extremely smooth trot and canter, with very fluid, reaching strides! She has a very solid stop in the arena, but can get headstrong in the canter on the trails. She is built sturdy yet light, and literally gets fat on air; not a hard keeper at all. Grazing muzzles or restricted pasture access are a very real possibility for her at this rate. Her hooves are strong and healthy, kept on a 6-week trim schedule, barefoot and sound! (She inherited the arab hooves thankfully) She has very clean, streamlined conformation with great all around potential! ‘Moonsin’ is an extremely personable horse, preferring human company over horses. She has never been hard to catch; she looks forward to being ridden and worked with, and gets jealous when you ride another horse. She thrives on love and daily attention, and homes that cannot provide that will not be considered. Sired by Cr Royale Coppersin, (on allbreed!) a 2001 bay tobiano Pintabian. He is 97% arab, and 75% crabbet.. approved with eastern crabbet horse society for showing in crabbet events, but so far un-shown. He is a solid mountain horse, carrying me to all sorts of beautiful mountain tops before retirement. He has lovely clean bone, sturdy build, and swift and enduring gaits. He also possessed a fabulous jump, with very neat, high knees, rounded bascule, and perfect balance taking off and landing! He didn’t enjoy it though, so we didn’t pursue a career in it. Moonsin’s dam is our own Moonstorm Frosted Silver, a dun varnished Thoroughbred/Appaloosa cross. She has a history of everything from endurance to jumping to barrel racing, dressage, and mountain riding. She was retired to broodmare after an accident caused her to go blind, so she was unfortunately never shown. She has a strong, clean jump with excellent scope. Her average jump height was 3 feet, with the capabilities to go up to 4.5, maybe higher! She has the endurance to go all day, and the speed to pass everyone like they’re standing still. As a 3-4 year old, she ran 1/4 miles in consistent 21-24 seconds, her record being 19 seconds. Her temperament is family friendly and aloof. Kids climb all over (and even under) her all the time. Moonsin is a special filly, my first home bred, and far exceeding my expectations! She is quite special to me, but as the saying goes, every horse is for sale at the right price.. She will go on a buy back contract. I’m asking 7000 obo, in absolutely no rush to sell. Offers welcome. Serious enquiries only! She is located in Creston BC, with delivery options to Osoyoos, Kelowna, Vancouver, or nearby. Also possible haul to Red Deer, AB area if sold by July 1st.
