Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Sioux Falls, SD

Chic is a reining champion, sired by the great Chicks Achy Braky. He's really got some great names in his pedigree. Registration papers in the photos. He's UTD on worming, vaccinations, farrier, and coggins. Stands great for farrier, loads, ties, lunges, knows the reining and calf cutting patterns. He's 21 this year, but you'd never know it by looking at him. He's got a big motor and likes to use it. He's smart as a whip and light as a feather. He's top or close to top of the herd. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body. Would advise for an intermediate rider as he knows his stuff and likes to move out. He's amazing in the arena and would be great as a 4H or Junior showman. I bought him to use as a trail horse, but he gets bored and doesn't seem to enjoy it. Rather than try to pigeon hole him into doing what I enjoy and him being miserable doing a job he doesn't like, I'm going to sell him to someone who will enhance his life. Serious inquiries only.

About Sioux Falls, SD

The history of Sioux Falls revolves around the cascades of the Big Sioux River. The falls were created about 14,000 years ago during the last ice age. The lure of the falls has been a powerful influence. Ho-Chunk, Ioway, Otoe, Missouri, Omaha (and Ponca at the time), Quapaw, Kansa, Osage, Arikira, Dakota, and Cheyenne people inhabited and settled the region previous to Europeans and European descendants. Numerous burial mounds still exist on the high bluffs near the river and are spread throughout the general vicinity.
