Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Modesto, CA

Eil is a gorgeous grey gelding that is a "go-to" mount for any terrain, mountains, camping and/or packing trip. Eli is 15.1 hh, has great legs and feet, is sound healthy, and ready to go where you want. He has a very fun personality and enjoys being ridden and hanging out after a long ride. Eli goes out alone, in a group, pony him/pony another horse with him, and pack him up with equipment. He is a lead horse for the most part because he is solid and not spooky- but he can go anywhere in the group without problems. Eli has smooth gaits, moves off of leg, neck reins, opens/closes gates with ease, is sensory trained, and is overall a solid, trustworthy mount. He is a ranch horse and accustomed to all aspects of the ranch life, including gathering, separating pairs, tagging cal
... more»ves, loading trucks, working the sale barn, branding, and doctoring out in the field. In the arena, Eli picks up leads with ease, has smooth transitions, a great stop, laterals, side pass, haunch & forehand turns, carries a flag, and is SMOOTH! He rides both English & Western and bareback! Eli is great for the farrier, loads in any trailer, stands tied quietly, LOVES getting bathed, and goes on the walker. He has a Natural Horsemanship ground foundation, has great ground manners, and is easy to catch in pasture or barn. He is an easy keeper and is healthy and sound. Best suited for Intermediate Riders & up. If you are looking for that true all around gelding to take you everywhere- from arena to the mountains- look no further than Eli. He is in shape and ready to go. Current Health & Coggins. Pics & Video Available. Delivery Available Nationwide
