Kentucky Mountain Gelding for Sale in Shelton, WA
Johnny will go anywhere. This 18 year old gelding is great on the trail, at the ocean or up in the mountains on a hunting trip. He needs a knowledgeable rider that won't let him be the leader. I purchased him for a lesson horse, but he does not have patience for beginners. He did fine with my experienced students. Perfect for the senior, that wants a safe mount, not too tall and not hot. He has been highlined and hobbled in the elk camp and has been to the ocean with a ten year old student.

Shelton was officially incorporated in 1890. The city was named after David Shelton, a delegate to the territorial legislature. Shelton was once served by a small fleet of steamboats which was part of the Puget Sound Mosquito Fleet. These boats included the Old Settler , Irene , Willie, City of Shelton , Marian, Clara Brown , and S.G. Simpson .
