Gelding for Sale in Quitman, GA

Taking offers on Thehorsebay dot com Introducing Joes Muddy Buddy, aka Phoenix. Phoenix is a 6-year-old black tobiano spotted saddle trail gelding standing at 15.2 hh. Current on Coggins, Shod on the front, teeth floated on the 15th of January. Phoenix has perfect ground manners and will greet you in the pasture. Clips, bathes, stand for mounting, and farrier. He loads and unloads on a slant load trailer, learning in a two-horse straight load, and does it without hesitation. Phoenix is not a bully in the pasture. He loves trail riding, will walk all day, and navigate over limbs and logs. Prefers trails and mountain-like trails, Prefers a light hand, does not like a rider to be in his mouth. Phoenix does great in groups on the trail. He will ride in front, middle, back, or ride out alone. He will also go over and through obstacles. He has been ridden extensively in south Georgia and North Florida since he was purchased in July. Phoenix has a bit of a motor, so I recommend an intermediate rider. His only flaw is he is not a field trial horse, took him to several, and he did not relax and enjoy them.
