Rex is a 6 year old grade gelding looking for a job! Rex is a stout sorrel gelding, his life started on a ranch, so ranch work is no problem for this guy! This gelding LOVES to please, loves to work and does whatever job you ask him. If you like horses who have brains and are quick learners this guy is for you! He’s been started on barrels (will go right or left) and is excelling! He could definitely do well in the barrel world with some more seasoning! He also would make an awesome rope or breakaway horse! Has a nice western jog and lope, but can for sure kick it up a notch when you ask! Easy keeper, loads like a gentleman, stands tied quietly and will pick up his feet with just a tap. Shod on front feet, will ride in a bit or halter, big boned, sound, and up to date on everything! Vices: He can be hard to catch, we are currently working on it everyday with improvement each time! He just needs a little time to get to know and trust you but once that halter touches his nose he is in your back pocket! Rex would be best suited by an intermediate or advanced rider!
